In 2006, Jennifer was given a beautiful 1930’s “Lone Star” pattern quilt made by her great aunt. Since then Jennifer has been inspired to quilt, taking on bold and bright fabric and turning her unique pictures and patterns into works of art. “I had always thought of quilting as a hobby people took up when they retired,” Jennifer admits, “but when I started looking for quilt shops, quilters, fiber artists, and fabric stores, a whole new world of bright, kind, and liberated people opened my eyes to the outstanding possibilities of quilting as an art medium. I have met quilters of all ages, genders, and styles and their stories and works are an inspiration to my own creativity.”
